I (Barry) come from an entrepreneurial family. My Grandparents owned a pizza place in Culver, IN back in the 70’s and my parents owned Suby’s pizzeria in Plymouth, IN in the 80’s. I grew up on pizza to say the least.
I loved how my parents not only offered the community a great tasting pizza but also provided jobs for many people who became like family.
In my early 30’s I was married with 3 children. I was a crew leader for an underground utility construction company. I worked my way up to top pay and suddenly became bored with my career. One weekend while helping a friend wash his large wood deck, with a rented pressure washer, a light bulb went off! Consequently in March 2005 Midwest Pro Wash was born.
I was able to gain the support of my wife (Jennifer). Using our tax return money we started on a shoestring budget. With the minimum amount of equipment I loaded up the back of my pickup truck and went to work. To be honest I was scared to death but I was on a mission to serve my community.
I first serviced family and friends but word of mouth slowly began to spread. Although some jobs would take all day the quality was there. I loved seeing a customer smile when they saw how clean their property was. With each customer my passion grew.
Our mission back then was to provide the best service possible through innovation and consumer education and to be open and honest in every aspect of our company. That is still our mission to this day.
In addition, not only are we providing jobs for people in our community just like my parents did, but we’re building a fun, family-like culture where people feel appreciated and want to come to work each day.
We’re so grateful for family, friends, our team members, and most of all our customers. Many of you have become friends. We look forward to continually providing the best service possible as well as meeting and building relationships with any new customers. We welcome you to our family.
